Indie Birds – Every Winner Of The ‘Best Cinematography’ Award At The Oscars

Whether it’s The Revenant or Gravity, Schindler’s List or There Will Be Blood, the Academy Award for Best Cinematography is a sure sign that a movie is going to be a stunning visual experience – take a look back at ALL the winners of the Oscar since they began!

Did you know that from 1936 to 1966 two Oscars were awarded in this category, one for the best Black and White movie, and one for the best in colour.

Another interesting fact about this award is that the last 3 Academy Awards have seen the same man, Emmanuel Lubezki, win in the category – which sets an all time Oscar record!

What do you think, will he be able to continue the run next year?
